anyone here play the old Starcraft?

my computers are too old to play SC2. anyone around here play SC1? I just installed it, if anyone wants to get a game going sometime that would be awesome. I'm just learning the basics right now, anyone know any good websites or something where I can learn all the tricks to become really good?

I still play SC1 once in awhile even after playing SC2. I'm not a terribly good player... though I know a pretty good Guardian/Devourer rush tactic for the Zerg that almost always worked for me. That probably was my main gripe with SC2, they essentially turned the big slow Protoss into a super fast builder faction and the swift Zerg into a slow building faction, it's as if they reversed the rolls. SC2 feels so "Arcade-y" now compared to the first in general. Now if only I can find where I put that Brood War CD...

If you can find the CD Key for Brood War, then you can register that with Battle.net and I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to download a digital copy.

i also have starcraft 1 somewhere but i have played mostly against AI and mostly in original starcraft

Just create a new one. Old ones get deleted due inactivity anyways.

right on, glad to see some people have the game... we should get together sometime and do a 2v2!
