Its actually really cool game. i enjoy it alot and even i has bugs and server crashes it is still a ton of fun. plus you can get tribbles in game and if you have food in your inventory the will eat the food and multiply.

Oh man. Stop showing me pictures or I'll be forced to join this thing! :pinch:

The tribble....words can't describe how cool that is. It reminds me of the stuff they had in World of Warcraft, but using all the inside jokes from trek. I bet the cooing sound makes it super fun to play with. And nice ship, by the way. ^-^

The cooing is the best lol. When someone pets a tribble everyone around them knows it cause of the noise they make.

And best of all i have more pics. >:D

and the borg look pretty darn cool too plus fighting a cube with my little ship was so awesome cause it was huge and i was told it was futile to resist.

cool little ship, so a question when you battle and loose, im assuming your ship gets destroyed, what happens next, do you go into escape pods or somthing? or how does that work?

and are there big battles, where you get a fleet of freidly ships and attack an enemy, or big borg invasions or stuff?

Yes your ship does get destroyed. but being in beta there is no death penalty yet. and yes there are huge battles with other players called fleet actions. like it starts off in space and you have to work together to fight off the enemies and then beam to a captured star base to rescue the people on it. and there is also deep space encounters where you get intercepted by an enemy fleet and then you have to work with other players to destroy them. so there's plenty of things to do with other players. there is Borg invasions planned at a future date too. and there is an auto-grouping system for missions that allows you to go in with up to five other people and if you want to solo then you can turn the auto-grouping off. And of course there is ship customization and awesome player customization. like for example you can place scars on your character and then position them on your character wherever you want.

I just decided to quit WoW.....again. I don't think I'll be doing STO even though my brother's in the beta telling me how awesome it is. If there isn't a monthly fee, and it wasn't a time consumer like most mmo's, I'd consider it though.
