An obituary on a special friend.

Today, my dog Flame had to be put down by the veterinarian after suddenly becoming heavily ill.

I've had her for not even two years, but she was a very special dog.
She was always doing something that made people around her smile and she always managed to cheer anyone up, even though she had a rather sad backstory with several owners who were either ignoring or nasty and bad to her. After all she was a calm and loyal companion who warmed my heart in very bad times. I'll miss her very much.

I'm sorry, Raven :(.

It warms my heart to know that you had brought her in from a poor situation where she was treated badly.  Even a short life in the care of someone who truly loves her is worth more than you can imagine ^-^.

  Best wishes for you, friend.

I had to have have euthanize my 1st childhood dog like 7-9 years ago. It takes time ALOT of time it get easer though.

I am starting to forget my 1st dog "Bud" in time you will to likely though it may not seem like that now.

As you go though the mind field of your minds reaction to a loss, just appreciate the good time with your pet they are all that matter in the end.

Hang in there.

Reading the first post would have offered you an opportunity not to deliver such inappropriate lines.

I agree that it gets easier (in terms of accepting), the missing won't really go away though.
