Alternate Star Trek vs. Star Wars

Personally I think Star Trek. Those new phasers would tear the Empire apart!

though honestly, when did they say that they use lazers?  From what I've herd they could have been plasma bolts(encased plasma) so I would even give them that just to make it fare, however startrek is still more advanced, using torpedoes, transporters, shields(real shields)

So I will vote as always.  Star Trek

I don't think there's a good base for comparison.  You can say Federation phasers and shields are superior, but there's really no proof (and you can make similar arguments for all the technology in each series).

I agree completely.  There is really no comparing two separate universes unless actual science is provided.(it would have to be from a canon source as well, and we all know how rare that is.)

I think the only way we would ever know is if the creators/writers of both shows/movies came together and actually created a show/movie that combines the two (hey, Alien and Predator came together, it's not impossible )  But they would probably have the same problem while creating it

It seemed, like most ST vs SW sites and forums, like it was more biased to SW.  Also, it always seems that its the SW fans who find they need to prove something.  Where as w/ ST we know we're superior so we don't need to try and pull people to our "cause." :-p

Biased to SW? What site was it you read? A reasonable Trekkie (they exist!) made that almost entirely unbiased site.
