Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations - Uninviting Community
From what I can ascertain it was locked for seemingly no reason except for not being a thread praising the online community. My concerns in it were genuine and the responses by others were civil as wel.
I would appreciate an explanation.
Thanks.

I actually don't see why that one was locked either.

It was becoming a bit too much about bile
. The point had been made, any other comments about personal disagreements should be done over PM and not serve as an open thread to criticize people

Agreed.
As the community grows larger fewer and fewer people will know each other. This leads people to be more uninviting simply because they don't want to spend the time worrying about everyone else's feelings. This is simply the nature of the internet and more so the nature of internet gaming.
It's not that bad though yet in FO. Cbosdell I've played with you and you're a good player, so until the point comes when everyone who doesn't know that may kick you, just toughen up a bit and be willing to accept that the actions of a few individuals do not represent the nature of "The FO Community"

I agree Boggz, I have only come across a couple of less than nice people compared to the many kind and helpful members playing online.
Depending on how they treat me the first time around determines whether I play with them again, and if I do join a game with them in I either don't talk to them or just leave and find another game or play a AI game.
