My user name

I noticed that my post counter says 19 (20 as of this post) but I know I haven't posted that much so I looked into my posting history and it seems this user name had already been used some time ago in 2003. This explains why I also had a number of information field already filled in with "wrong" information when I first logged in.

How is it possible that I managed to get this user name if it had already been issued ages ago to some other stranger?

I have my own password but what if that other stranger decided to try and access his old account? (which is now my account!)

Thanks, I'll check back now and then to see if you've found anything. Thanks for looking into this for me. I suppose it's not too bad so long as the other person cannot gain access to my account.

Ghosts in the system.

It's possible that it's not because of a previous member called "Phoenix", but that when you registered, the system gave you the same "user-number" (unique (normally) number, every user has one) as a previous one. Simple (but rare) database glitch.
