can they post or will they be able to post i hope they can not as in http://www.armada2files.com guests use to slag off peoples work and potd's under guets so that no body could say so & so shut up

nope, only registered users can post to avoid dump comments (like "lol"-posts :lol: ) and it keeps the moderating work low (- more time to mod :))

so if you are a guest (to all guests) feel free to register (i assure you i will send you no newsletters or something and take part in our forum :)

o good that use to really p**s me off if your going to say something say it and let people know who u are so we can kick the s**t out of you l8r

We don't give their names, but their IP is there, so you can do more than just kick them.

but many people don't care about even when their ip is on the board. i'd say, when they really interested to post something useful then they take 2 minutes to register and then post something. i have seen on some other board with post enabled guest accounts (including the a2f.com comments) that 50% of these people just posting comments that are not really worth for a discussion cause they are mostly rude

not all guest posts would be unfriendly or rude ones, but from what i have seen there are some people having fun posting negative things. people who are interested in start a discussion would register anyway.

That's one of the differences between forums and comments, comments aren't really for starting a discussion(although it happens).
