Wippien Headaches

So Wippien has almost stopped working for me.
 
  I've been unable to get VPN with usually about 50% of the people online at any given point.  No matter what I do it doesn't get better.  I've tried other accounts and I'm stuck.

  What do you guys think?  How do we fix this shit?

tried reinstalling wippien?

i dunno, mabye redownload it, the only thing i can imagine is that some people are using different versions.

Actually Catty gave me some tips on how to make it a bit better.  Seems to be working better, but not perfect.

antiviruses? firewalls? other vpn services? another lan network?

Its server sided, you cant fix this, only thing you can do is wait.

It may fix it self in an hour or it could be as much as a week before you see all your contacts again.

Although some seems to be server side, a lot is also related to the way it is installed it seems... lots of problems are fixed just by twiddling with your settings, deleting folders after changing wippien accounts - that sort of thing.

why u think its server sided?

from my exp most problems r caused by user side settings. for instance i had been disconnected only once and does not have problems getting vpn with users and im behind a router. from DN previous posts (correct me if im wrong) he also has a stable wippien conn.

Eraldo, these things have been fixed by others with client side solitions so you cannot say it is an inherent server-side problem.

Oh tom, btw do you have any easy way of adding contacts with your program or without doing it manually? I.e. for 64-bit users?

Catty reminded me to set a static IP.  Since I am on a wireless router and recently went to visit my folks my IP's got switched around.  I just had to remember to reset them to static. 

  So no, Eraldo, it wasn't server-sided.  It was me-sided .

as i stated b4 i made this program because i was too lazy to add contacts myself and i released it only because making the installer takes like 5 min. i'm really sorry if it doesnt work for u. if ppl decide to stay on wippien and i'll have some free time perhaps i'll make v2.
i can see only 3 possibilities why it is not working:

• wippien is not running when u try to use it
• contacts.txt is corrupted or contact in it are not valid (it should still add the ones that are valid)
• there might be some errors with privileges. wippien is running on other account then u r trying to run the program.  WipSDK.dll did not registered correctly (in that case open command line and type 'regsvr32 /u WipSDK.dll' -> enter -> 'regsvr32 WipSDK.dll' -> enter (u must be in a dir where WipSDK.dll is located and must have administrator privileges)

We are staying on Wippien (unfortunately or fortunately) - none of the other VPN systems are easy enough or effective enough it seems

Well can someone else use the tool on my account on their computer, since contacts are server side but also stored cloient side?
