What version of flops is being used for online play ?

I just updated my vanilla install of flops to the 3.1.5 patch, but Im getting a 'host has differnt version' error when trying to connect.

check the announcements on the guide. I think they are using a thrid-party patch to fix a well known bug.

replace the stock file with this file:
http://guide.fleetops.net/downloads/tri ... ng_sml.odf

it allows maps with small blocking triggers.

thanks

edit: Hmmmm still getting the error for some reason.

Only game Im presently seeing on tungle is Chakotay's 'final doom' match.

Can anyone confirm if they are using vanilla (minus that blocking trigger fix) flops ?

If so, I need to reinstall I guess.

I don't think they use vanilla FO+trigger patch. I recall seeing those as different version as well.

Well my first map, a 1v1, I kinda curbstomped the guy (gotta love asymetric maps).

Next one, 2v2, it lasted a while but the borg/rom combo against me and my teammates klin/fed did quite well, although we DID manage to wipe out their first few attacks, the early raid on me managed to get my mining shut down for a few minutes, which had a major impact about 20mins later when spheres started poping out.
