Here you can arrange online encounters and reminisce over past online battles.

At first when I tried it I thought to myself WTF am I doing. However I have somehow found out how to get my V-13s out while the AI is still at cruisers. I only did this once. However, I'd like to know if it is a good thing and if so what are the positive and negative side effects. If you'd like, I'll tell you how I did it.

Construction Plan:
I started out with my usual. I got one of my constructors to build a mining station at the starting dilithium moon. Meanwhile the other was building the first shipyard. And my starbase was building 4 miners. Upon completion of the shipyard I went to begin the ship research (1st research center) facility. The shipyard had 4 bugs and a Breen Cruiser Proto in its que. The one that finished the mining immediately went for building a mining center on the starting tritanium moon.
Once the first research center was built I immediately made another yard. By now I had my 4 extra miners filling the 3-per-moon slots. I for some reason made another constructor. The 2nd yard had 4 bugs in its cue and the Bomber proto. I sent one of my constructors to expand to one of the expansions for supply. However once I got there I made another dilithium facility. I by now purchased a supply expansion. And then I was back in business. I rushed to construction of my large yard thanks to a whole lot more dilithium than tritanium coming in. And then I put 2 T-15s and the V-13 Proto right in the cue when finished.
After some combat experience with my first T-15 being destroyed. I canceled the Bomber Proto and the 2nd T-15 and got the V-13 Proto out. I then started making a few of these to attack expansions with.
I dunno if all my choices were good. But I found an interesting strategy that could be useful. Dominion players, maybe you should try this. And see if your opponents start complaining.

would have worked easier for pure avatar their v13 is more awesome.
proto system allows u to get out large ships fast. those t15 will help protect it from smaller ships too.
im not sure in online play if it would be so good though, unless your enemy wasnt very aggressive. as v13 proto takes time to make. and leaves u without money for significant other ships. or turrets.

Against a decent player, i think not. Especially if they are fed, they'll just hit you with warpin and a few destroyers/cruisers and bye bye economy, you'll never get your V-13 proto out of the door.
Against a defensive player or someone lacking experience.... maybe...

So long as your ally(-ies) are competent, it would work well enough in a team game.

Considering this isn't even a rush, so much as a more rapid climb than usual....
