Tunngle needs extra stuff?

what is this saying exactly i'm not quiet sure? do we all need to make a forum account to access tunngle? oO

Hello Community,

As some of you already know we will be updating our web services very soon.
In the light of some Community suggestions we decided to implement a new unified login system.
If you have a forum account which you would like to be linked to your Tunngle account please be sure that you change your forum email in order to match your Tunngle Account email (if they already match then you are already set).
Remember that you have to revalidate your email (using the current forum facilities) after the change.
Of course you can also change your Tunngle Account email if you prefer.
It is possible to associate only one Forum Account to your Tunngle Account.

Example A:
Old Forum: lukeskywalker@chewbacca.com
Tunngle: palpatine@jabbathehutt.com
Result: No association

Example B:
Old Forum: lukeskywalker@chewbacca.com Validated
Tunngle: lukeskywalker@chewbacca.com Validated
Result: Accounts associated

There will be no other way to associate the old forum accounts after we switched.
This only applies if you have a forum account which you would like to link to your Tunngle account.
If you do not want to associate or if you forget to sync mails nothing will happen. You will still be able to login with your old Tunngle account after the conversion.

WICHTIG Account Umstellung für neuen Webservice

Hallo Tunngle Community,

wie einige von euch sicherlich schon wissen, werden wir in Kürze unsere Webseite nebst Forum komplett umstellen.
Aufgrund eurer Community Wünsche werden wir mit diesem Schritt auf ein einheitliches Loginsystem umstellen.
Wenn ihr bereits einen Foren-Account besitzt und diesen mit eurem Tunngle-Account verbinden möchtet, dann stellt bitte sicher,
dass die im Forum gespeicherte Email-Adresse mit der des Tunngle Accounts identisch ist
(Ist das schon so? Super. Dann werden beide Accounts bei unserer Umstellung automatisch zusammengefügt!).

Beachtet, dass ihr nach Änderung einer Email Adresse (über die Foren Funktion) den Account erneut aktivieren müsst (man erhält eine neue Validierungsmail mit Link).
Es kann jeweils nur ein Forenaccount mit eurem Tunngle Account verknüpft werden.

Beispiel:
Altes Forum: lukeskywalker@chewbacca.com
Tunngle: palpatine@jabbathehutt.com
Ergebnis: Die Accounts werden nicht verbunden!

Altes Forum: lukeskywalker@chewbacca.com Validiert
Tunngle: lukeskywalker@chewbacca.com Validiert
Ergebnis: Accounts werden verknüpft!

Nach der Umstellung wird es keine nachträgliche Möglichkeit geben, alte Forenaccounts mit existierenden Tunngle Accounts zu verknüpfen!
Wenn ihr keine Verknüpfung wünscht oder vergesst rechtzeitig die vorhandenen Accounts anzupassen, dann könnt ihr euch natürlich trotzdem noch mit den alten Forendaten im neuen Forum anmelden.
Wer noch keinen Forenaccount besitzt, wird sich nach der Umstellung mit seinen Tunngle Account Daten im neuen Forum anmelden können.

Zusammengefasst: Jetzt rechtzeitig die vorhandenen Accounts anpassen, dann geht bei der Umstellung alles glatt.

when u signed up for tunngle you were probably asked for a password for the tunngle forums. if u dont use the tunngle forums then this shouldnt change anything.
