The tournamet will start in begining of july 2014, to get everyone time to register or PM me. So, start signing in, and good luck to you all.
You can sign in also here

Few basic rules, similar to the old tournament back in 2011

---Each game needs to be observed at least by 1 person, preferably by at least 2 persons at the conclusion of each match. And admiral’s logs should be sent to this e-mail address: or uploaded on teamspeak, where i will create folder for that. I will post them online for you to see.

--- Specific exploits as listed in the guide are prohibited and may result in disqualification.

---A game is considered "won" when both players agree the game is over as signified by "GG" etc... Hiding ships in unwinnable situations to prolong a game is highly frowned upon. In such situations, discretion is left to the observer to "end the game" by leaving declaring the advantaged player the winner.

PS: looking for someone to be an admin of this tournament on with me, just for case that i wont be able to fill in scores.

PSS: for a better picture how it will work, you can check out page from old tournament

Have you actually thought about a map cycle yet? Might be fascinating to have a map pool, and a designated map for each round.

Actualy a good idea! :) I am thinking about cycling three maps, like - duel 2, blue skies and one more, or - duel again... any sugestions on this someone? :)

i sugest duel, blue skies and convergence ....
convergence is 3 player but nicely balanced for 1v1.

Additional starting positions are common in other RTS.

I'd suggest: Convergence and Blue Skies. Maybe Star Traffic. Early Bird isn't too bad either.

I'm comfortable with Duel II, Convergence, Blue Skies and Early Bird. I've not seen Star Traffic played in a 1v1 setup, but that might be interesting as well.

We got nine people now. Are we going to set a deadline on more people joining and go to town with who we have at that point?

Seeing as I'm almost never on at a time where a game would be possible, I cannot participate in this tournament. I look forward to seeing the replays, though!

Well, i'm waiting for a map pool ;)

There also should be a rule that the required spectator doesn't watch the game with his toaster (lag and stuff).
