Romulan AI Defeats players.....

I keep some degree of practise by doing 1v1 vs 1.15 build time handicapped Merciless AI on Old Space. They usually hit me with 3 - 5 staryard ships before I get my third ship up, and it's not that long after that when the first warbirds start, quickly ramping up to waves of 20 - 30 warbirds and staryard ships. Preserving the fleet in the face of that is entertaining

Yea in 1 on 1 AI matches i usually build my ship yards slightly father from the rest of my things because other wise they trample everything else. As long as you can hold them at your ship yard and do some awesome microing 90% of the time you will be able to start going on the offensive.

Unfortunately the other 10% of the time you get stomped to the point of rage quitting cause you wasted all that time to get whooped.
