Is there an irc channel for fleet ops, i think it would be easier if an irc channel was set up as finding a game would be very easy.
I coded a irc client for another site and for a dif reason but i can change it so it would connect to the fleet ops server/channel and finding a match would be simple.

If a channel is set up by someone i will recompile my client, but some will want to use mirc or something i just made a client because some people like me don't use irc enough to care about the extra features of a complete client.

Its not like Hamachi where it fools around your network settings right? I left Hamachi because of network problems.

irc = instant relay chat, you cant play the games via it, but you can find a game if everyone here uses 1 server, if someone is on then you can just ask if they fancy a game and then use hamachi or what ever other tool you people use to play the game, its far easier than adding everyone on msn.

This can all be avoided if you just add people on Wippien then... because I only go on Wippien when I want a game anyway--and I wouldn't have IRC running unless I was looking for a game to be honest

Yeah...I too thought about the usefulness of having a FLOPS IRC channel, but with wippien, it's fairly unnecessary.
