Very true, however they didn't use networked electronics because of the Cylon's hacking abilities, the borg don't hack computer systems...at least I don't remember them ever trying...You are correct though, assuming they wouldn't shoot down the rocket, the radiation would kill most of the borg on the ship, it would cause little to no damage on that hull...but you are correct, it would take too many bullets to peirce a borg's body armour, the colonial explosive rounds might do the trick though...

4 of 11, I don't use MSN, I have icq, or you can email me cylon@mtnwaves.net also, i'm in #help at gamesurge...helping people ...I'm in #fleetops and #fosf too, anyway, you can contact me on email for setting up a match if you can't pop into the IRC, I'll probably be able to this weekend :) I am working on my computer this weekend, so if you can't find me, i'll probably be on later :)

4 of 11, your the resident borg expert, will acute radiation poisoning kill the borg like it does humans?

doubtful

the Nano probes would repair the cell damage as seen in the episode friendship one

the force of a nuke will kill all borg in the blast radius so if they fired a nuke as mentioned above to the coordinates picard mentioned in first contact to data, borg will die

The borg have metaphasic shielding.
They would be resistant to the radiation, they conquered a large portion of the delta quadrant, so its feasible they have shielding to save them. It is also likely that their personel shields would be adapted to the metaphasic function as soon as afore mentioned radiation was encountered, and they'd likely tractor the missile, because they would realize its purpose (as they did make that giant multi kinetic mine, that looks like the renegade borg ship). Either way, they would not likely be harmed. And borg body armor is pretty dense, (Also if the weapon fired too slowly, the damage could be repaired via nanobots).

hmm what about a weapon filled with the gas from first contact. its a good way to take over enemy ships. fire. it pierces hull releases gas and boom dead borg

The federation would never use it due to their pacifism.
That was plasma coolant from the Warp Core...probabally not the cheapest thing to produce weapons out of, not an actual weapon.

anything can be made into a weapon- Commander Adama 12-9-05(you can quote me)

you would never use warp plasma coolant as a weapon its too unstable

think about it you get hits to your weapons and they go boom all organic material would be ******

plus to create weapons based on them would mean they wouldnt be explosive

wonder how high energy plasma based weapons would work?

pretty sure i heard "high energy plasma beam" muttered from a horribly written alien gun salesman in voyager, i just can't name him since theres been so many in that series
