So yeah, for the first time in ages earlier today I did an Armada match.
For those that don't know what that means, you have one 'player' controlled by multiple people at once.
So, anyone interested in doing more of these for fun ? Because it seems they come up too little for my tastes.
Notes for better Armada gameplay: If you're going to play armada, communication (TS or typing) is required, otherwise you run into problems when both people try to move the same ships. Also it's often best to appoint one player the 'Admrial' and let him allocate you your ships.
Gameplay wise, it's quite intersting, because you have people able to raid without needing to worry almost at all about their base, they'll get recalled if needed and can concentrate on micro.
So, anyone intersted in getting some armada matches going for fun ?
