Absolutely justified. After 4 years of hard work, bringing Armada II on a higher stage everyone ever expected.... I think they've earned A LOT more than a small donation. I'm going to pay a full prize I would pay for any other game.
I also think that people that made a donation are much more reliable on testing the game they payed for in contrast to someone who just want to grab a game for a one time play without giving a shit on testing it. I mean not playing but testing. The donation thing just makes it obvious who is going to put effort into it. In the end it's in our interest and for free which is the best of all. It won't take long anymore from now on. Expect it published this fall.

This is excellent news guys, ive been checking the forum every week for over a year now, and its been great to see the progress that's been made. I cant wait for v3 to be out so we can hammer the single and milti-player modes :)

How much time do you expect a beta tester to put in Doca?  Im interested, but Im active duty military and college part time.  I would love nothing better than to help, but If I dont want to be the one not holding up my end of the bargan either.  I could probly work in an hour about 3 nights a week, and 2-4 hours on the weekends.

I might have to skip a Rikti Mothership Raid or three, but for FleetOps, its worth it.  (if you dont know who the Rikti are, dont worry.  It just means you dont waste your weekends playing a comic book based MMO)

Just let me know.  Im willing forgo all MMO playing on weekends (on a monthy paid account) if necessary.

Oh, and I almost forgot;  Ka'pla!!! (does anyone know if I spelled that right?)

its not that that we expect someone to spend 6 hours a day on playing fleet operations. you will not sign a contract. just play as much as you like and then give some feedback if you encounter a bug or something else that concerns you

Hello. I'm very new to the forums. Is it possible to donate now and still become part of the beta tester staff?

Sure it is. The Beta Team is not yet chosen. As far as I understood they'll pick the guys when this month is over.

I just hope they dont count people trying to work the system by donating like $0.02  or something.  I know some people will try.

Guess I'll just hold on to my pennies then. J/k! The team deserves their donators for all the effort and time they put in =].
