This looks really awesome, I can't wait for more.

I'm thinking I want to start up a map and mission making team, basically start by just getting some people together to make a small campaign and see where we go from there.  Of course it depends on how much free time I have.

Not very polite to get a massive news update and then ask for more! More info will be released when it's released, as will the patch.

All great things I'm hearing though :) Keep up the good work.

Good side: It is really nice we are going to get a regular dev diary now and it is awesome to see all of what you are doing. :D

Bad side: You are doing Feds next? pffft...

I'm glad to see that you change the old way of unit "interaction" (which is an understatement). It really is a pain to understand. I gave up to understand the current system after 5 minutes and instead tried to mix my units blindly or build the stuff which was most convenient for the really skilled players (commented replays ftw!).

The new system will erase a major flaw of this game. Thank you so much for that.

If you ever make it possible to create Task Forces (combining a small group of ships to act as one unit) as a source of huge variation in gameplay - man - I'd not stop to play this game day and night. This would  justify the name Fleet Operations even more as it already does.

similar to this is synergies, i think more synergies will be coming if they haven't abandoned the concept. its not ships behaving as 1, but it is task forces to a degree.

Good stuff!

Hope this comes out for the Holidays, or whatever.  Been itching to see some new updates.  I also hope the map / campaign editor (you should combine them, or at least have that option to do so) gets a boost and added in.  The Map editor is a bit buggy for me, but I work around it as best I can.  Great work as always thought.

Many new and more creative ways of combining a fleet, and even weaker units that haven't been built that often before will be very useful again - this gonna be quite interesting...

I see C-11s and Remores returning to gameplay, also i see B'rel KBQ mix finaly being a counter for dode spam.

So many possibbilitys are coming :whistling:

I do agree that moving the feds first is lame,

hay, c11 may have a few issues with longevity in the current patch, but plenty of smaller tanks can shield the remore and the remore is definitely worth it, even if you have to super micro to keep them at the back. the free special (super precise volley) on its own is enough, as is the second special (vector calc). vector calc can safely be used from the sidelines too, and lasts a full minute.

c11s are hard to use, but the remore is ignored for no good reason.
