Looks good, though a part of me was hoping to see the special from stock armada... seeing that red torpedo bounce around... didnt seem like it did much, but man did it look cool!

chain reaction pulsar, stupid name, stupid special.

it did a lot of damage when you had several akiras using it at the same time.

i wouldn't like it in fleetops at all, it would encourage akira spam.

Yes, I did Akira spam in stock, & I was happy to see so many AI ships explode. The new special is similar in that it is fire & forget and is a direct damage special. Of course, there are other factors that will prevent the new Akira in Fleetops being spammed.

there's many differences. i don't like vector torp either, but it's much weaker than chain reaction pulsar. plus who even builds torp rhienns? if you're gonna shamelessly spam rhienn refits, it's gonna be disruptors, their special scales up with numbers very nicely.

vector torp is almost irrelevant in fleetops atm. personally i hope they bin it and come up with something more interesting for the torp rhienn (if that even survives indefinitely). maybe a special that makes it more effective against allround ships. currently it hates cruisers, which isn't a classification in the next patch.

also the name vector torpedo isn't as stupid as chain reaction pulsar.
