Fleet Operations 3.0: Supply Resource

You know . . . what about having supply crates like in Homeworld 1/Cataclysam except that when you got them they gave you a special ability that you wouldn't be able to get. . . like a new build function or new weapon. Is anyone familiar with Homeworld to know what I'm talking about of do I need to explane more?

i think it's better to be completely original, that when people play the game thay don't say, hey this is just like in homeworld, or in any other game!

I don't like that idea from Homeworld1 - Cataclysm.

@ KLOK

I don't think any race except the Romulans or possibly the Noxter would use such underhand tactics tho. A good Romulan special weapon perhaps?

perhaps, it could be explained in one word: sabotage?

maybe a specialweapon of a small tal'shiar ship? maybe wit a small time delay? i would like such a thing

some materials can't be replicated(transwarp conduits, large spare parts,etc.)
