Curious: how has this 'lets-get-money' scheme been working out? (not that I begrudge you or anything)

They deserve every penny of our donations.  and hopefully they will get picked up by paramount to bring this game to the next level.

p.s. and around ~75 people donated so thats between im guessing $5-15 per average with a few larger donations bring it to around $1000  SO people should be more supportive of these guys GREAT EFFORT and SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION.

p.p.s  to get back on topic  I played the 3.0 beta 4 for about an hour on a 3v3 ai map apart from a few slight performance issues it played great.

i always appreachiate your straight posts :) but don't worry, we are far from getting rich here, you can consider adams calculation a bit too optimistic. still, currently they are enough to buy us a beer when we meet, so it's a nice motivation when someone donates :)

Somedays I worry that we will never get a public version =[.

the closed test is there for a reason, that we have learned from our past releases. in the last two major versions that were always bugs that we didn't notice while we have played the dev version and that was also the case for 3.0. there were some severe issues with v3 and i am very happy that we this have a closed beta test with a few people dedicated to just find these bugs but to have an open beta test where are some people who forget that beta doesn't mean that everything may work as expected and open for the same bug 10 threads to complain that this or that isn't working right without giving a good way to reproduce the issue.
we mean it this time, 3.0 is not called 3.0 beta, 3.0 pr2 or anything, it's just 3.0 and we'd like to have it working without to have to pull out 2 hotfixes right after it's release.
