Ok... yet another question.

When you install Sigma over FO. Would the standard FO underneath still work?

Don't install it over FO. The installer automatically is set to make its own directory. Installing it over FO will cause all sorts of really odd things to happen.  :sweatdrop:

Hehe yeah installing it over FO makes all sorts of weird things happen, especially in the map editor. By default the installer should put Sigma in C/Program Files/Crimson Creations. Sadly a Jewelry store got copyright laws to the title Crimson Creations shorty after so now I need to change the name  :sweatdrop:

I was getting tired of sitting on my bum so I whipped together a demo allowing players to try out the last three races in Sigma. As of now they are quite unbalanced, so don't expect any fair multiplayer matches until better balancing tools arrive in the future. The A.I. is still super buggy at times, and I'm certain an explosion related crash might show up sooner or later. Other things like tooltips are also yet to be refined, so don't expect as much polish from this demo as there was in the last one. This is just a rough demo to hopefully get some more interest:

Sigma - Sov, Mylock, and Ekoset Demo


You'll need 3.1.3. Just paste everything over your 3.1.3 version of FO and it should all work out nicely.

Also, PLAY ON SIGMA ONLY MAPS.
FO maps = no room to build stuff.

can this be pasted over your previous beta? or does it have to be pasted over a fresh 3.1.3 and does it have all 5 races?

It has to be pasted over 3.1.3, not the previous beta. It does include all five races too  :thumbsup:

Awesomeness  :thumbsup:

After doing some tests in multiplayer, Dominus and I noticed all auto-generated resources seem to generate at a ludicrously low rate so I should have a patch for that up soon. Probably best to play on unlimited resources until then.  :sweatdrop:

TUN, you'll want to figure out what your mining rates per minute are for your other races, as that might help you come up with a reasonable rate for auto generated resources.

Hehe got any nifty math formulas for that?  :shifty:

In the meantime this little patch should make them all playable in multiplayer at the very least.
