Please take a look at my coding

I am trying to make replacements for the Dilithium and Tritanium Moons to allow orbital mining stations and orbital facility's in general these will be a much bigger part in my mod so I need to replace the normal resources with ones that allow these facility's to be placed.

So far I have gotten to be able to place the Orbital mining station in orbit of the moons but the station is not mining.
I decided to find out if it is the weapon so what I did was take the weapon place it on a mining freighter the weapon is working and mining the moon I then checked over the Orbital mining station that looks good too so the problem must be in the Dilithium and Tritanium Moons them self's.

So now I am asking for some help to look over my coding and see if any one here can find the problem.

FYI: I'm considering trying to later on remove the resource mining from the AI so that way the game can put more emphases on being an offensive style player.

I don't know how your PlanetMiningBase is set up, but Planets cannot handle Dilithium as a resource. PlanetMiningBases can only handle Metal. :sweatdrop:

Well that seems odd in my game I have swapped all the scrap aka Dilithium Moons, Tritanium Moons with planet versions and them mining freighters are mining them just fine it might be that the orbital mining station just can't mine out Dilithium, Tritanium or Bio matter it might be a hard code thing by the game engine.

It that is the case then I will have to rethink some things then because it will just mean the two factions that will have orbital mining stations will not have them.

Because the empire Death star avatar was coing to use orbital mining stations and the cardassian union was going to have both orbital and mining freighters.

Because I am already using the moons in my mod and I have been having no problem with mining from them the only problem seems to be the AI does not know what to make of them so after I get all the factions and avatars done I will rework the AI to not have to mine plus I think it will make the AI be made of sterner stuff too.

I have attached the coding for the orbital mining station that I have for the cardassian union.

As far as I know Planets cannot handle any resources aside from Biomatter and Metal - I'd check your mining freighters to see that they aren't collecting one of those two resources.

Yeah I have done that and just for you I have gone and taken some photos and captioned them.

Ah yes, you're right - simple mistake on my part :)

If you can look over my coding and see if there is a way to fix the moon so that way the orbital mining station can mine that would be awesome.
Right now I am working on the media in my mod as in the music you hear.

I don't think there is - unless I've made a mistake, neither I nor anybody else I know has made that work. I assume only Metal is accepted by PlanetMiningBase. You can simulate mining by having the mining base activate a resource weapon while in one piece.

OK that's what I was afraid of Orbital mining bases can only handle metal.
I guess I will have to rework on factions I want that use orbital bases have them serve as another function instead of mining.

Like I said, you can use a resource weapon :) As long as the mining base is alive (or weapons are active, blah blah), it will "mine" .

OK so what you just did there is kind of a cool idea you gave me to better reflect after the Cardassian's where sort of cough forced to join the United Federation of Planets and there economy clearly suffered. I have made the Orbital Mining Station into a refitted into an Orbital Trade station that now generates supply's.
I was kind of wondering how I was going to address the whole supply issue and your resource weapon did just that.
I set it to addBiomatter at a rate of 0.4 to reflect the fact that Cardassian's are better miners then they are traders.

Given that after the Cardassian's held Bajor they ruined the planets Environment and the federation for all of Deep Space never fully recovered the planets Environment.
