Cardassia One: Opening Bulletin

Hello, as you may know from my help wanted thread, a Cardassian race has been put on my todo list.
Now of course this is going to be a big project. Because I am going to have all the following done:
- Ship and Station coding
- Feature Programming
- Weapon coding
- foreign weapon coding (to get proper damage variables of the Cardassian ships to other races)
- SPW coding
- Mix tech coding (probably one of the larger projects, doing for both this race and its contribution to other races)
- Tooltip writing (I'm going to need a lot of help with that)
- AIP Programming (I can do this, but I might need some insight)
- Beam Weapon Sprite Making(for phasers and beam based SPW)
- Weapon SOD editing (to make SODs for torpedoes and pulses)
- SOD Node editing (to remove stock emmiters and to insert proper glows for ships)
Now, this is a lrg project. So I will have to break it up a little. I personally prefer coordinating this via PM, email, or skype if you have it.
Now, what is it that you should expect out of this? You have various different star ships and stations. All to be coded to have selective strengths and weaknesses. Then there is the one unique feature. No, two unique features!
Unique Gameplay Feature 1: You get the mighty Stock missile. Completely rebalanced, and also capped to prevent spam of any degree.
Unique Gameplay Feature 2: The mixtech system is refit based. You build a small research station that then researches mix tech. Then you refit existing ships with available mix tech refits. But to make it so that you don't refit every single ship. I also capped the number of ships you refit. This is to avoid mix tech spam.
Now, what else? You get a guarantee that all lightmaps have been checked and improved by yours truely.
To make lightmaps closer to FO quality.
Now, of course, to sign up. You can simply post your position, and then PM me your contact info.
The more help, the quicker we can get this out. Hopefully by the time 3.14 might be released.
Now, if you have opinions. You can also post them.
