Borg Connections Extractor

I got the idea for this mod off of the Species-8472 metal extractor. Since Collective Connections in Fleet Operations is Metal, and (I assume that) the resource extracted is hardcoded to be metal, I figured I'd make a mod that exploited that.
So with this mod, the Borg mining freighters will get a collective connection extractor. Some of the materials on ships make excellent resources for expanding the collective network. But sometimes assimilating the entire ship is not very productive, so the Borg adapted a special cutting beam to extract the necessary resources right through the hull of the enemy ship. The Resource Assimilator will extract the resources directly from a target ship, damaging the target's hull in the process until (1) the assimilator runs out of special energy or (2) the target is destroyed.
Resistance is futile!
[EDIT]
I was wrong about the resources extracted. It's Biomatter (Supply), not Metal (Collective Connections). Oh well, it was worth a shot!

Could it be implemented for the Klingon Piratical Avatar then? Leeching supplies directly from cargo holds.

Sounds good for a Klingon avatar, though some stuff should be more expensive to compensate.
