AI buildorder Change for High Buildcosts (5.00)

Hi,
an updatet and much more optimized AI buildorder change files.
Remember -> This optimized for BuildCosts 5.00 !
With lower buildcosts, maybe other settings more optimal.
It depends on the race build costs at which general build costs, specily
build orders the best.....
(so in the best way - it musst be different AI buildorder files for different general build
costs (every 0.8 or 1.0 cost change) for every race ...)
So here for BuildCosts5.00 [BC5] and maybe good at 4.00 too.

I LOVE using high build costs, but FLOPS is designed pretty much only for C&C style unit spam.

Ok, playtested against Borg/Dom/Rom/Klin AIs as Fed, with AI and global build cost/time settings all on max.
The AI proabally needs to focus on mining more, as it never seemed to ahve more than a few mining ships per race.
The Borg, I never saw their miners cast teh resource station spell to spawn one, so they seemed to be dead on arrival basicly.

Hi,
mhhh - have in ca. 5 testgames played against borg normalAI and he build the resource station
as expectet ..
The problem with the amount of miners is that i have to balance between mining stuff build and
combat ship build - and the AI buildorder file show (at FO 3.1.3 - dont know change this with 3.1.4 ..)
that the AI is very limmited - build the list point for point and nonflexible.
No levels of priority or change of buildorder by things happen ....
So it is hard to get a descent buildorder.
But thanks for your feedback

Hi,
New little improved version, and compatible with 3.1.4 (little changes in the file from 3.1.3 to 3.1.4)
The borg miners never build resource stations.
The AI is hardcoded for simply federation handling of ALL units.
So ->
It is a shipclass that build.
It is one shipclass that mines.
And the rest is to combat.
This is very good on Fed and romulans.
But on Borg , the special ability from the frighters (build the resource node) iss full ignored and so the build ship (assembler) musst doing this.(by scripting it looks many restrictions from the user interface
which bases/ships can build is gone ...)
The Dominion get no benefits from here superior multi hanbdling construct ships.The AI NEVER switch between construct/mining or supply-mining mode.He simply dont know this.So i musst have in the build
list seperate entrys for mining and construct ships :
And it is (IMHO) impossible ATM to build an supply miner alone - so get the supply miner from the KetrecallWhite Factory destroyed - ne new is come.
The klingon dont use here good fighting construct ships in an battle (defence the base or minig stuff)
and dont know that the mining ships can become a cheap battle ship by dispatching here mining stuff ..
All races handled the same - Fed like
So even if i reorder the buildlist to prevent stucking with no resources and doing my best to create
a good build list that handles the most things - the AI is still very limmited and even dont know
the diffs in the races ...
If i would raise the mining build stuff then it is no battle ship to defend the miners available and he can
shot down like sitting ducks
Not to menton, the AI not every time defend here stuff with sense ......
