I learned .odf-modding and experimenting/troubleshooting by doing. And I did it since 2002 :D

Howeve, Tyler and I guided you through the basics of .odf-modding already and I think you'll be able to find the problem. I'm convinced it has to do with the .odf-change between the old and the latest versions in some way.

It certainly can't be any energy shortage, at least not for the Risner version; it has 100,000 units of SE.

Cool. Didn't check it yet (because I don't really wanna download it just to read around in the files).
I remember how I messed up my heavily modded A2-techtree once because of a typo (,odf instead of .odf in a line, what a funny thing to discover).

The ship looks brilliant, weapons work, and the prox torp works fine!

Its just when i reaches vet, the multilayer sheilds and other system upgrades all get added and work, except the dist field?

I copied the files exactly?

As said before: This mod is designed for version 3.1.5, and the current FO-version is 3.2.6 and the .odf-system changed between those versions. Because of that, the techtree is different, too.
If you want to make this work with 3.2.6 you really need to adjust things.

I can't tell because I don't have the odf-files to look at them.

You need to check the files that are involved in this modification.
Distortion-field, passive abilities in the odf's and the techtree of course.

Sorry to bump this thread, but does anyone have the files for this ship? I tried downloading it, but it says the file is no longer there.
I would put the peices together, but I'm a little behind on modding ST Armada and Fleet Ops.

I know we have our disagreements but I am definitely not going to criticize your modelling skills. Good job. :thumbsup:

Can that just be plopped into the mod folder as is along with Warp Ins mod or do I have to merge files with a text editor?

nm.......looks like I have to merge files since it's a replacer.

I don't think you can make a mod that's a true stand-alone, not with how Armada is built.

Theres a big difference between porter and modeler.;)
