I've never played that game. I watched videos of Armada 3 and just couldn't get myself to download(and pay for) the game and then get the mod.

Check back soon again, Bam is really cruising through the modifications and we will re-release the mod again.

nice mod, have played hours with this one.

Are You guys still working away and introducing things avatars etc that you have described just recently.

Bam is nearing completions on modifications. I will be testing it and making an last minute changes and then it will get re-released.

look forward to trying this update out. I Love some of Bam's additions, it will add greatly to your already fantastic mod .

I have understood why the Devs of previous fleetops mods have avoided including the cardassians and the breen, not included certain ships like the scimitar, prometheus etc but it's nice to see them included in this one.

Yeah I originally just modded the game in the beginning to make the feds build the excelsior, ambassador, galaxy and centaur. I just found fleet ops in December and it was years since I even played armada. I am not a gamer, but I've always liked Armada because a) I'm a huge star trek fan, b) I really liked playing armada with my friends when I was growing up.

After a month of just making the minor modifications I found models made by Aad Moerman, and he created a pack of Cardassian and Breen ships and once he gave me all his models I was determined to add them to the game. I've always been fascinated with the Breen and I thought the Cardassians are a must for the game.

Once Bam finishes his modifications, the game will surely have more of that canon Ds9 feel.

I got this same problem. How did you fix it? It's installed, but when I activate it from the mod menu, it just loads up the base Fleet Operations. I think it may have something to do with my Anti-Virus, because it keeps recognizing the Fleet Operations file as a Trojan Horse. At first, I chose to heed the warning, but after nothing else worked, I re-installed it, told the anti-virus to ignore it, but it still isn't working.

The answer to this one is you have to recognise that this mod isn't installed like a typical fleetops mod (installed in the mods folder).

As long as you have fleetops installed and running on your PC, simply extract the Dominion wars mod from the zip/rar file onto your desktop (or another location on your PC) and then go into the Dominion Wars mod you extracted and double click on the Fleetops.exe file located in there.

This should be all you need to do, if it doesn't let me know and I will guide you through another step that I required to do and it get it working.

That's correct. You need to unzip the mod to your GAMES folder and run the game from there.
Works just fine :-)

Thanks, it's working now. And now for a suggestion for Picard

The Alliance's need some work, because they are essentially just trying to play 3 races at once. It's cool, but I think it's a little too much near the start, plus it makes your base fucking huge and difficult to manage I would recommend this as a solution to this Streamline it like General Leang from Generals

If you've never played Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour, then General Leang is sort of the final boss for the Challenge mode, who essentially takes the best unit equivalents from the 3 factions and molds them into 1. This would translate to FO by having a single builder unit and it having the ability to build stations from all 3 factions. Have 1 basic shipyard, 1 intermediate shipyard and 1 Advanced shipyard, each able to produce ships from all 3 factions. But, handpick the ones that can be produced, i'd say 3 or 4 from each faction, with the exception of the Advanced, where i'd say 1, maybe 2 each.

I know it'll be difficult, but it'll not only make them more streamlined, it'll also give a reason to play the 3 base races as well, to get access to more stuff.
