Veteran should increase speed 30% for the Mixed-Tech one. Try putting a mixed-Tech veteran next to a normal veteran and racing them, see who wins.

By saying it can hit 2, are you talking about the passive ability?

It might be good you downloaded V2 first, because I seem to have forgotten to add the Transwarp Drive into the V3 folder... When it gets to veteran, Transwarp range is increased by 50%.

I guess I did something wrong then.

I already did race a non veteran and a veteran and also tried both transwarpdrives and they were the same. and I was talkind about the tooltip at veteran status. the phaser array can hit three targets but it says it can only hit 2...

I guess I messed up with the veteran at some point. when I have time I just redo everything. that might help

edit: yes that helped. now it works fine. I wish the transwarp would go a lot further though :)

Hi Guys,

Only new to the whole modding experience so please forgive me for asking a simple question. When I go to install this mod and the other ships in this section into Fleetops, do I have to simply drop the files into their appropriate folders within the Fleetops install on my hardrive, or altenatively do I have to make the necessary text extries within the readme as well. Once again sorry for the dumb question, but I have to o start somewhere.

Yeah, the text entries are required or the game won't know what to do with the files.

Hey Tyler,

Thanks for the reply, I used the install instructions that came with the read me, but it didn't work for me. Like most of these mods that come with these type instructions, I cant seem to get the build buttons to show. When I put the cursor arrow over the shipyard responsible for the build of the ship I can see the ship in the build list, but cant locate the build button when I click on the yard (all the ingame ships are there but not the Excalibur for example). Am I using the wrong build item location within the odf file, it does say in the read me to pick any build item number that has the text all delay. This is the only thing I can think of thats stopping me from adding the ship to the yard. Any ideas??

yeh put the entry for the excalibur between the other ships and repair contract. Any idea what else it might be??

Techtree and shipyard entries spelled correctly? I know it's unlikely to be wrong (considering it comes with instructions), but it can't hurt to look.

thanks Tyler for your reply, will try your suggestion tonight and will get back to you. I have copied and pasted the entries in from the instruction files themselves, so i'm not quite sure what i am doing wrong.

I just thought about those borg textures...how do those work? does it change the look of the ship right away or only if it gets assimilated? does it do that automatically after I added the textures?

Which version? V1is the only one with Borg Textures. V2 always has Geen Nacelles because it's a Mixed-Tech only and V3 only has green Nacelles for the Mixed-Tech version, never the regular one.

I would like a 3.13 version. However, the Excalibur Class is really overdue for a texture revamp. Like the one in the screen shot here.
