Armored Intrepid

Okay.... this is something that I'm sure everyone may like. The Armored intrepid. This of course is simple, but none the less really nice. It replaces the Borg Mixed Tech Intrepid. Weapons are all the same, just an inflated Tritanium cost and increased hull strength. Also I posted a Scrnsht of the Intrepid. I tried to scale it to the standard as best I could. I hope that the effort of making this work is appreciated. I have been having some probs with the button and System backgrounds for it. If anybody can get them to work. Post the working versions please.

Nice one there, if i'm not mistaken that is voyager with the ablative hull armour from Endgame.

it looks like it, it should have a hull strength capable of withstanding say 20 beam attacks from a cube. as we saw it take a lot in endgame. why no transphasic torpedos though? its funny, the one ship you dont put a million weapons on, is the only ship that should be able to one shot a cube, such irony.

he must have the regular intrepid as a base.

I'll see if I can fix real quick.  atleast until gamer can do it

Since this apparently only effects the Borg Mixed-Tech version, it would use a seperate SOD. Did you change the 'basename' code in the odfs?

hmm, it isn't a deploying weapon in is?

no, I can't see any problem with it.  if everything is in properly, it should work.

After copying the SOD, did you remove the basename code from the odfs? Just copying a new SOD won't auto-erase that.

yeah, I guess that could work, but the base name SOD is in the game, so it should already work. :blink:

never mind again.  darn, tyler beat me to the fix :sweatdrop:
