Achilles Class 1.0!!!

It is finally here!!  With a really long set of instructions, tooltips, the works.  It should all be here, and it better be for all the work I put into this thing.  Please tell me what you think and feel free to give ideas for improvement.

i have a small problem  i cant build it after the research is done 4 it

got a prob zax,put all files in can do research,can see build button in the yard,but it stays red and wont let me build even after i research all the chasis and mixed tech,and wont let me build it,any ideas?,also thanx to u and tyler,i got the ai build list tweaked and face off against sum of the ships i added

nice work thou,jst let me know how to fix

ok, because you guys are the only ones that reported the problem, and you both had the beta, I will assume that it is related to that.

Make sure that Fed_achilles.odf is only in the tech tree once.  other than that, you guys need to be more specific.  What else does it say it needs to be built?  What exactly happened?

i followed ur instructions i have these lines added to my tech tree

fed_achilles.odf  0
fedR_phalnax_array.odf  0
fed_phalnax_arrayA.odf  0
fed_phalnax_array.odf  1  fedR_phalnax_array.odf
fed_miniquantum_burst.odf  0
fed_achilles.odf  1 fedU_chassis3.odf

i put all files in relevant folders,i added lines to gui global,i placed fed achilles in build item and the research 1 for  phalanx array i can research the array and build icion shows for the achilles but its red says u need to research the chasis's i research all 3 then i still cannot build the ship,i even researchd mixed tech and still cannot build achilles ship,all icons show,the game works fine,any ideas?

ok i think i found out what went wrong  i went and look in to tech tree and look at the achilles line then i look at the other ships that need the chassis 3 to build and saw that the achilles was missing the Y after chassis 3  so it should look this atm fed_achilles.odf  1 fedU_chassis3.odf change it 2 this and it should work fed_achilles.odf  1 fedU_chassis3Y.odf

ok, well as long as it works.  


Oh wate...you may only be able to build it via mayson though.   I think that was your problem, if you left out the Y, it may have been built only by Risner.

nxt prob it errors after firing phaser think u may have prob with torpedo weapon or summut coz 1 phaser fired then it crashed tried again and happened again,will chk to see if it makes ship as mayson

  Risner is a she...or wate, do you never play as mayson?!?!?  Mayson is way better than Risner.

........Did you put the fleetops.spr in your game?  Did you overwrite all the weapons and odfs?  I made no mistake in spelling, And I don't think I left anything out, so I think you for got something, or didn't overwrite when you should have.  Other than that, it is something you did, and I can't really help much more than that.

yeah i do defensive as risner,prefer the challenge and like defying the odds,cant get achilles to build as both if i add the  Y in tech line it does build as risner,

got the ship working and the weapons are sweet,gr8 job zax,seriously,just wud like to build as both avatars

well, if you change it to say fed _achilles.odf  0 in tech1.tt, it should work

it all works gr8 no glitching or errors,thanx zax and all coz i didnt swap fleetops spr file,gr8 design and the mini torpedos look gr8,wud be wicked ship in blockade
