weapon mixing

is it possible to use one avatar's weapon in another avatar for example can i use Risner's Photon torpedo platform weapon on Mayson's Starbase or would i have to mess with the techtree too

Just extract the ship odf and rename the weapon to the other avatar one, the techtree would only need to be changed if you plan to add/remove a special weapon or change the requirements.

ok im expirancing a crash here, when i go to upgrade the starbase weapons twice then upgrade defense once it crashes im looking at the odf but i can't find anything wrong. fed_outpostZ_DWW crashes. now i did take Risner's photon torpedo launcher and try to put it on mayson's starbase, is that the problem or is there something else i should look for?
