Is someone familiar with the weapon ODFs? I looked into them recently but I found several strange new commands I didn't see in the stock game. The Hitchhiker Guide  doesn't explains them either.
What does "shotspeed = 1e6" mean for example? Ort the "radius" modifier? Isn't it the same as the fire arch?
There are several strings I didn't even heard about...  :blush:

If I am not mistaken, those are ordnance commands.

Yeah, those are Ordnance commands - an explanation will be added in the future :)

Shotspeed is the speed of the projectile in I guess what would be unit of measure per second (I assume its supposed to be the speed of light... but 1e6 is neither meters or km, and decameters isn't standard...), and radius is what determines the radius of sprite based weaponry (like phasers) I believe. :)

They do look like ordnance code to me. Stock ones, too.

I believe 'radius' is the size of the weapon blast (how thick a phaser is, for example) and shotspeed is how fast the weapon travels (1e6 is 'too fast to show correctly').

1e6 is the common math writing for 1*10^6 so... yea, 'too fast to show correctly' ^-^
