translating / renaming

Hi there,

this is a topic, for all the german fleet ops fans here.

I started to rename the original armada2 (german) soundfiles, to use them in fleet ops.

I discovered that its a lot of work  , to hear the english sound and to find the german counterpart.

So if someone wants to help...i never say no....

edit: these are the german renamed borgfiles and one change i made for the soundeffect for the assimilation matrix. just copy these files into sounds/voiceover/ingame and the effect sound into sounds/effects

Isnt there a german fleetops page as well? if there is you should post it there as well.

no, an official german fleet operations site does not exist. so this is the right place to post these
@Ruediger83 - i guess you have noticed already: as many of the voice sets were especially created for fleet operations by voice actors for us or are from other sources, you won't some of the voice counterparts in stock armada 2.

yeah i noticed, 

the borg voices are nearly the same, except the 4 "transmitting" sounds.... but i think i will find a solution....


edit/ in your "link-corner" is a link to a german forum, which is not existing anymore....


found a good "borg_transmit" sound....

for borgfans:

rename one of the transmit sounds (the second) as "cheater" and copy it in to the directory....

now, in a muliplayer match, type in one of the "cheat-words" .......
