Whenever a ship docks with a Trading station in FO, you get Tritanium since Latinum doesn't exist anymore. How do you change it to Supply?

That would be problematic....

In most cases, I find that Tritanium is something I eventually have too much of.  So it definitely needs to be changed to supply.  And we need to make it so that we can buy and/or sell Dilithium and Tritanium for Supplies.

But that is one of the unique features of Borg Optimize... give it to everyone and you need to give BO something else....

Besides,  allowing people to swap out resources for a different type means the game is more forgiving of people who handle their resources badly... the cost of doing this I think should be very high if implemented.

PS: ifyou have too much tritanium the don't build any more tritanium mines, focus on getting the dilithium.

The way trade works, setting a route will get about 40 tri when it docks. That one would be better changed to supply, since it isn't supposed to be a mining station.

Trading one resource for another is already available in the trade menu on the station, and would be best staying there.

the resource gained via trade route or ferengi is hardcoded but mayb the devs can work on it

I'm sure that the FleetOpshook.dll file can be modified by the dev team to fix that problem.

if u have too much tri do some research :D

I have a trading station in my current (paused) game and have less than 600 Dilithium and over 9000 Tritanium, after all research. I only have 2 moons...

Try buying some dilithium.

Correct.  That files is in fact spyware which monitors all your internet activities while you have A2 launched and seeks out your paypal and bank account details and siphons money into Optec's bank account.

What?  You didn't really think they made this mod for fun did you?

thats an ia game, fo isnt balanced for ia, its balanced for online play. so dont expect things to be sensible in ia.

IA and multiplayer isn't important, the modes don't alter the costs and trade results. You're thinking of strategy.

but that affects how resources turn out.

an online game probably wont last long enough to get all the researches done.

and if u are doing all the researches as fast as possible you wont have defences to fight off the enemy and will die anyway lol.

the scenario you present of have loads and loads of tri and no researches to spend it on is something that i have never seen in an online game.
