SOD Animation Troubles

So I have just finished the painstaking work of animating the same model twice for two different special weapons. The first animation works like a dream I can't believe how well it's turned out. The second animation however doesn't work properly, the animation runs for its 10 seconds (correct) but it seems like only the first and last keyframes are used (i.e. it jumps from the start to the end and does nothing in-between)
Anybody any idea what might have caused this I can't see a difference between the two animations.?

nope but i would like to know wot material settings you use as i keep getting messed up shadings or ship turning out too dark (when adding bumps) or no lighting at all like how ships look with no alphas (if no bump)

I've just remembered the causes of this. To keep the SOD size down keyframes that are very similar are removed so my keyframes where only a small part of the model was changing at the time got chopped out.
To solve the problem moving everything very slightly to the left and then very slightly back to the right in the next frame seems to be enough (and not really noticible.
Sorry blade I'm coming back from a 3+ year hiatus from modding and relearning everything. not got round to bump maps yet I'm afraid.
