I know that Sigma wasn't designed for the current fleet ops version, but I'm curious about this new modding structure.
If I was so inclined, could I create the mod directory, then copy the entire Sigma zip file over to that directory? Would that allow me to run the mod from the main FO menu, albeit with bugs?

From what TUN has said on MSFC, it wouldn't work properly; AI and all that. TUN is working on a new version, using the new mod structure, but it won't work until the AI compatibility etc is put in (hopefully in FlOps' next patch).

Yeah I have the next version of Sigma all ready to go, but there's a problem with the mod directory right now in that it won't read AIPs so things like Instant Action, NPC's, and map creatures don't work. There's also been changes in how warp-in files work in FO so most of the Sov won't work if you just put the older version of Sigma in the directory. You can expect a new version the moment the AIP problem is fixed.

Hey TUN, while I have your attention....could I suggest a few things for Sigma?
I'm having some problems - Really minor in nature, but I'm not sure where to report these for you to look into.
1) Ships being blocked from moving -in general-. The biggest problems seem to be with the Zevestivans and the Ekoset (due to the sheer size of their ships). Several maps it is impossible to route the larger ships through passes where stations are built. Closely build stations also seem to snag ships as well.
2) Ship movement is painfully slow. Zevestivans & Ekoset again seem to be the big-hitters on that...with the VRA being a close second, but the large ships in general seem to have problems.
3) Debris persistence is cool, but can seriously bog-down the game. Is there any way to disable this? I can't imagine what it would do on some of the older systems, which currently struggle to run Fleet Ops.
4) Some of the projectile/missile style weapons seem to miss their targets, then get stuck in 3-4 loops before impacting the target. Not sure if this is intended or not.
5) I'm also having a problem with only three of the four avatars showing-up in-game (I believe this was reported earlier) on 1600x1200 resolution. I can get you more info on this later if need be.

So now the patch is out with an AIP fix, is the next patch of Sigma on it's way?
