I was curious if ship mods from A2 like the installable century class could be put in fleet ops. If there is a way please tell me.

welcome to the forum kyuubi, hope you enjoy your time here.

I think tyler can answer this for you, i remember him releasing some sprites that made stock stuff work in fo.

It was in a miranda class mod release thread

"installable" meaning via auto-installer? I doubt this is going to work, since installers usually overwrite global files like sprites. Manual installation should work, though, but I haven't tried it yet. (Well... it works the other way, at least.)

if u have the relevant permissions,u can use a odf for a similiar class copy them out of fleetops and edit as desired, therefore bein able to use them in fleet ops, tyler or admiral zaxxon are the best to ask they taught me a few things,gd luck

Thanks I do belive that what you have said will assist me in the future. But perhaps I should clarify I was only using the century class mod as an example and becuase it's a mod I'm interested in putting into the game

Also if I was to install a auto-installer type mod onto my desktop and manually install the files after making the properadjustment to the files, would it work?

Absolutly.  as long as you were careful not to overwrite something important. :sweatdrop:  As steve said, I and others on this site are happy to help whenever you need it.

Also, the odf's might work fine now without modification as long as you have all interrelated odf's in game

As to permissions, you shouldn't have to ask for anything if its in your personal install.  You can do whatever you want as long as you don't plan on releasing it publicly.
