How does the shuttlebay on the Akira work, exactly?

I'm giving my Starbases avatar-exclusive models and intend to give Risners the civilian shuttlebays while I'm at it, but am not entirley sure how to add them. Do you just add the passive and that's it?

I assume you want to make it so that fighters will fly to it - in that case you need to give your fighter the
supplyclasses

multirow command, where you specify which units you want to be supplyclasses :)

give the venture the ability to support fighters :D :D

Yup, it's the fighters that decide their homes, unless of course you want to make new hangar modules (which is just a replaceweapon set of commands).

would fighters be able to house in enemy ships? or other allied races ships? what about map objects that arent ships? like 'roids?

That's definitely something to test, but I'm fairly confident that indeed they could be housed in allied ships and map objects (I think). As for enemy ships, well, the fighters would be shot down pretty quickly... but it might work. Could certainly be tested easily enough :)
