Resource Cost Order

Is there a way to change the order that resource costs are displayed in the build tooltip? I would like to shift biomatter far to the right, past officers, and use it to represent time.

Yes there is,look in the misc folder for the GUI_Interface,in it you'll fine this list:

IIRC back in A2 you could add this to the GUI_fed,borg,rom whatever race file in the same folder and I think you'll need to change where the resource icons are placed too.

If you have A2 installed take a look at the 8472 Species gui file to see how it's different from the rest,that should give you the idea of what to do.

That just changes the order that they are displayed at the top of the screen, not the order they are displayed in the tooltip when building something.

For clarity, I would like the tooltips to read dilithium cost -> latinum cost -> officer cost -> biomatter cost, and don't care about metal. They currently go dilithium cost -> latinum cost -> biomatter cost -> officer cost and changing the order on the resource panel does not change the tooltip order.

I'm using latinum to display crew and I would like to use biomatter to display time, but it's splitting the actual resources currently.

EDIT 2: Nevermind, I figured out something weird and crazy with negative officers.
