Remove veteran cap?

Is there any way to disable the limit on veteran ships? I hate not getting to upgrade my ships to vet because I have a limit, especially when a lot of ships take up a fair amount of slots.

in the odfs, there is a file called

all_cap_veteran

change all the cap limits to zero and you can promote unlimited veterans

i actually have the file done, if you tell me how to post it here, ill give it to you and save you the effort

On second glance, it appears that I have no idea what I'm doing. Where do I put this? In the odf.fpq file? I can't seem to find it in that file. Nor can I find one in my actual ODF folder? *scratches head*

lol, ok, go to your fleet ops folder, make a new folder called mods. then make a folder inside of that called my mod, then make a folder called ODF, inside that make one called system. place the odf i gave you in there. then open your game, go to options, mod settings, switch to your mod, and enjoy

edit: and put a copy of you odf.fpq in the system folder as well

when you asimilate oficer ship you can promote it to veteran

They're working to change that so you can't promote them I think or something like that.

The Borg experience system will obviously be way different than what it is for the normal races so there is no point to having ships assimed by the Borg using that system.
