P81 Excelsior Class Refit (Enterprise-B/Lakota)?

Hello there,

I was wondering, I have P81s excellent Excelsior Class in KA2, but I can't seem to find a Lakota Variant that has the same sort of "style" and it would look odd if I used another authors model. Does anyone know if Pneumonic81 ever made a Refit version of the Excelsior, and if so, where to find it?

There's one on A2Files that has the Enterprise and Lakota versions: Excelsior Class Refit. It credits Pneumonic81 for the original model, so it should be consistent.

It's in an auto-installer, so you'd need to make a new folder for each to get to the files.

Ah yes, that one. Its sort of consistent, but, the panelling seems the wrong colour, unless the Enterprise-B really was white. Well, I guess I'll do with that one and see what it looks like side by side

As the texture is likely just a recolour, mapped the same, you could always just copy the normal Excelsior one over it. Then they'd match...

Thats the trouble Atlantis, it isn't. I was sure I had seen an Excelsior Refit model that was identically mapped to P81s Excelsior but, I must have been mistaken. Either way, looks close enough. It's only being used as a mixed tech unit anyway so won't be all that common.

You really should ask for permissions first.
(Note: I refused to give permission in only one occasion and that was because the kid wanted to go commercial and I didn't wanted to be associated with anything illegal )

My apologies K_merse. I wasn't just going to use your model without permission I just source these things first, and ask permission before release (as i've found several times that i've changed my mind about a model or including a certain ship, station etc, it's just easier to get it all how I want it and then say "right, okay, now to email those people" )
