Notepad++ Help

I have been runnign into a dead stop in one of my mods because of one annoying little problem.

I cannot seem to continue since I am unable to put in a stat as 91 in the color symbols.

Character: 9
Hexcode: D7

Character: 1
Hexcode: 81


Every attempt I have it replaces both with some symbol.

So far the only one where this scenario does not occur is with 99. But I have not tested every combo. But apparently it could be an issue with modders. Anyone else able to confirm this?

I often insert the symbols by typing their hex code and then use "Convert hex to text".

Try doing one symbol at a time on different lines, then moving them. OR put a period between x8D and x81. OR put 8Dx81

All of those alternative ways work for me with no issue as well
