Need Help: Future Wars sod errors?

I've been having some issues recently. About a year ago I downloaded future wars and saw they had a bunch of really good models in their work. I picked some of them out and tried to add them and i'm having no luck. I've added hundreds of ships to the game in the past so i know how to do it. Add the SOD, TGAs and create the odf file. Make sure all names match and such. However with the Future Wars models even though the spelling is correct...each time i build the ship it comes out as the ERROR sod. Could this be because the scripting has some German writing in it for the SODs?

I know you can add future ops ships to fleet ops because recently the picture of the day at FileFront had fleet ops ships and future ops ships together. How can i make them coexist nicely...they are not playing well together right now. Someone save me...

I've added Future Wars as a mod requiring (parent) Blade's STA2 mod in FO, so I'm sure it can be done without any future additions. Have you considering using that same methodology? :)

Since future wars uses glows as well as fleet ops, you have to rename the hard points on the ships to get the right sprites, of transfer the sprite data from future wars to FO, but this is just one thing, there could be others that inhibit the transfer.


(note: check the emitter sprites aswell, Future wars uses them while fleet ops desn't)
