Is there a way to have your phaser target 3 things at once, or fire on one target from three times at once useing only one odf?  I thought that is what the sphere did, but I'm not sure.

Ahh... the "cannonimp" thing. Also Area cannon works as well...

I know, but does it target a single ship with all the "basetargets"?

You mean a Phaser that will attack either 3 targets with 1 shot each or 1 ship with 3 shots? I'm not sure that's possible.

that is how it works... the system works where there are so many shots, shots are distributed amongst available targets, if there is only one than it fires all shots at the one ship.

ell, I will check again, but I think what they did was give it two duel targeting phasers, which will target 4 targets, or one target with two phasers.  Do you see what I'm trying to do?  I am trying to see if you can have one phaser odf.  it targets up to three targets at once, or it targets one target with three phasers.  Do you know if that is how it works, or do I have to do it the first way?

Ok....If I understand you corectly u want a single phaser emitter to fire on 3 targets simultaneously corect?

So u would use cannonimp label or area cannon....I prefer cannonimp

But for areacannon just add

maxtargets = whatever
hitcondition = 2

for cannonimp just add

basetargets = whatever

and if u want a single weapon to cycle through targets do this with the cannonimp label

useprimarytarget = 0
targetloop = 1
shotcyclereset = 2.0
shotdelay0 = 2.00

or whatever delay u want to have

Hope I helped.
