Modifying ODFs and playing with my friend online.

I was wondering If I could tinker with the ODFs of some ships and still play online with a friends if I put those very same ODFs in his directory as well. Is this possible? Are any special measures required?

welcome to the forum, you have an interesting name

also no need for red text.

your friend must have identical odfs to you, so if you give him a copy of your odf.fpq file, then you will be able to play together.

no special measures, just make sure he has the same mods/alterations as you.

Sorry I'm new to all this I didn't realize I had used red text. Anyway thanks for the advice.
