I need a tool which is able to search and replace passages in odf files like the Windows editor, but for more than one file, for example all files in a folder.

Now im using Dreamwave but i have to open the files before i can edit them, but when there are more than about 50 files its very slow.

I recommend Notepad++ It can search and replace in as many documents as you want and it has so much more. I would heartily recommend it to anyone seaarching for a lightweight text editor that is powerful.
Seriously, try it!
