Well this isn't really a topic for discussion, more like a need for information And help,


1. the first thing i need is if someone knew of a good 3D Moddleing Program thats able to export in SOD format, aand doesnt cost 3000 dollars(maya 2011 Anyone) i would be thankful for any help.

2. Someone to add glows to ships. under permission i have been working on a NP mod for some time and have hit a wall, i just need someone to Add glows to 4 ships, but because of the bussard color they must have custom NEW sprite entreys, somthing that just escapes me with regards to warp glows-

milkshape is pretty good and fairly cheap less than £100.00 (i think its about £50.00)

adding engine glows is pretty simple if you know how to add stuff like hps, there basically joints with s_ prefix followed by the glow name

Milkshape crashes on my computer,
and i know how to add glows, i've done it before, i just need new colors and i can't seem to get it to work

it would be much simpler for a more experenced modder to do them,

I would do it for you.   4 ships you say?  That shouldn't take too long, depending on the amount of detail.  Could you post pics of the ships in question?

This one, and then theres the Galor and Brinok, i have the hedki to but it dont need glows

I would like the deflector to BUT i'm working on a different solution. inspired by beta 2 i have decided to use the noxter overlord pulse flare style that has pulses of light when you fire the weapon but not all the time. that should solve that problem
