there is a switch at the bottom of the rts_cfg.h file  now...so i guess set that to 1 and then add in the old scripts and binks and see what happens.

To enable missions, as has been said, you need to:

- Set the RTS_CFG switch (int cfgSINGLE_PLAYER_ENABLED = 1).
- Copy the files from stock/bitmaps/single into fleetops/data/bitmaps/single.
- Edit the mission_select section in the label.map file - add your mission files ( see stock label.map for examples )
- Edit the mshell.set file - simply add the map names separated by newlines, and use the '-' symbol to separate campaigns.

All works so far, but I have an issue where I can't see the buttons for the campaigns. They are there, as I can click them, but they are invisible. Not sure whats going on there.

i think this switch was maybe for the future, something that is planned but unfinished at the moment, the developers did say that the campaign scripts have to be re-written,

i maybe wrong, but given there was no instructions on this feature, i think it's not suppose to be used yet,

unless someone re-writes the campaign scripts CTD's will probably be the least of the problems,

we need to get some feedback on this switch from the developers really, see what they have to say where this switch stands for us users?

How many others are attempting to activate the single player missions in Fleet Operations? I am tinkering with it, but have had mixed results. I am currently trying to 'remake' a mission using FO map editor and one by one, include all necessary componets that the script/rule files need to work the mission, but it's very time consuming. I am wondering if others are willing to collaborate or share information about progress/failure so as to kinda put our heads together to get it working.

i got a 20 mission campaign i want to put into effect but with the way the map editor is at this point and lack of scripts and so on, it's going to be difficult to even try, i am not a modder so i can not say what is needed.

i was about to place an idea up about the campaign and releasing all map editor functions for it to work, but i decided against it as it may have been suggested already. Boggz tried it for a few triggers and now i found this thread as well for the whole cake.

i hope the FO modders can sort out the map editor and such, i can see alot more potential here then anyone may realize. this map editor is user friendly, i hope that continues if its decided to releast the other functions.
