McKinley Yard

I just downloaded 3.1. I attempted to edit the odf file for the Mediterranean class, to add the McKinley Yards. When I launched the game, the construction ships don't show the option of building it.

Also, is it still possible to add older mods back into the game, such as the Miranda I Class?

The best way to check it out yourself is to look into the sods if there is a model of it at all. May be it's just the buildbutton that isn't there so that it appears as invisible but clickable (if Sod, odf and techtree entry are still included).

and buttons and wireframes... alot of work not to add a ship/station to the game, but the end result is amazing :thumbsup:

Don't non-buildables already come with them as default?

The ship addons and replacements in the Modding section should still work, unless they changed FO in any way.

they should, though the non buildable ships/stations otherwise didn't get enough love since 3PR :)

The old buttons are still in the texture folder I think so you could just edit the sprite files to use the old one. Also mckinley has no system background image :( but they are not to dificult to make. Personally I just edit the antares and eraudi yards to produce what I want.

Yep just added DS9 from dan1025's full race cardie mod :D

........... Maybe I can experiment with the McKinley Textures. And try to see what freakish monster of a yard I can come up with. :lol:

Since the McKinley station (It's a maintainance station, not a yard) looks a lot like a spider, it makes sense to call it a monster anyways (because soooooooooooo plenty of people hate and/or fear spiders)  :lol:
